Fees and split
The protocol takes a fixed 10% of a coin's creator fees. The launcher chooses the streamer's share, 10% to 90%, and keeps the remainder. The default is streamer 50% · launcher 40% · protocol 10%. Nothing is taken at claim time.
Every coin launched through StackLive has a pump.fun fee-sharing config with three kinds of shareholder: the streamer vault(s), the launcher's wallet and the protocol treasury. The launch transaction writes the split the launcher chose and then revokes the admin, so the numbers are fixed for the life of the coin. The default split looks like this:
- Streamer vault (PDA)50%
- Launcher wallet40%
- Protocol treasury10%
Locked on-chain: admin revoked.
Split policy
- Protocol: a fixed 10% on every coin. The launcher cannot change it.
- Streamer: chosen by the launcher in the launch flow, from 10% to 90% in 5% steps. The default is 50%.
- Launcher: the remainder, paid to the wallet that signs the launch (40% with the default). If the launcher gives the streamer 90%, the launcher gets nothing and is not a shareholder.
- Collab coins: the streamer share is divided between up to 8 streamer vaults (9 when there is no launcher share), in any proportion, for example 25% and 25% of a 50% streamer share. Each streamer gets more than zero.
- Limits: pump.fun allows at most 10 shareholders per coin, counting the protocol and the launcher. Shares are in basis points (bps) and must add up to exactly 10,000. Our server checks every rule before it builds the launch transaction.
- Shown everywhere: every coin page, receipt and streamer page shows that coin's own split, with the launcher's address.
| Streamer share | Launcher | Protocol | Max streamers |
|---|---|---|---|
| 30% | 60% | 10% | 8 |
| 50%default | 40% | 10% | 8 |
| 70% | 20% | 10% | 8 |
| 90% | 0% (no share) | 10% | 9 |
Each trade of a pump.fun coin pays a fee split three ways: the pump.fun protocol, liquidity providers (after graduation) and the coin's creator. The creator portion accrues in a creator vault owned by pump.fun. For coins with a fee-sharing config, that creator is the config itself.
- Trades accrue creator fees in SOL (or USDC for USDC-paired coins).
- Anyone can call
distribute_creator_fees_v2. It is permissionless: the site runs it, launchers can run it, and the streamer's claim transaction includes it for coins with pending fees. Graduated coins first move fees withtransfer_creator_fees_to_pump_v2. - pump.fun pays each shareholder its bps share directly: lamports to the streamer's vault PDA, the launcher's wallet and the treasury.
- Very small amounts can sit below pump.fun's minimum distributable fee. We show those as “pending (below pump.fun minimum)” until they grow.
The creator fee rate is set by pump.fun, not by us, and it changes with market cap. These are the rates on mainnet right now:
Percentages are of trade volume. A tier applies from its market cap (in SOL) until the next one. Read from Solana mainnet, refreshed hourly.

The launch page's estimator uses the tier that matches the coin's current market cap:
creator_fees = volume × creator_bps / 10,000
streamer_bps = 1,000..9,000, steps of 500, default 5,000 (set at launch)
to_streamer = creator_fees × streamer_bps / 10,000 (split across vaults for collabs)
to_launcher = creator_fees × (9,000 − streamer_bps) / 10,000
to_protocol = creator_fees × 1,000 / 10,000Worked example with the live bonding-curve rate and the default split:
- Daily volume
- 100 SOL
- Creator fee rate (bonding curve, live)
- 0.30%
- Creator fees per day
- 0.3000 SOL
- To the streamer (50%)
- 0.1500 SOL
- To the launcher (40%)
- 0.1200 SOL
- To the protocol (10%)
- 0.0300 SOL
This is an estimate, not a promise. Volume on new coins is volatile and usually falls after launch. Actual amounts are whatever pump.fun distributes, and every distribution has a receipt.
The 10% protocol share goes to a Squads multisig. It pays for RPC, audits and the KMS key that signs attestations, and funds the buyback described in the disclosures. The treasury can only receive money through pump.fun distributions; it has no power over streamer vaults.

The multisig does not exist yet. The address above is a placeholder that nobody holds a key for, so nothing can be sent from it.
Some fee platforms keep money that recipients fail to claim in time. That cannot happen here. A streamer's share is paid straight into their own vault, the vault has no expiry, and the program has no instruction that sends vault funds anywhere except to the streamer's claim. The protocol earns its 10% at distribution time, whether or not the streamer ever claims.
Unclaimed fees stay in the streamer's vault. Forever, if need be.
Next: how the streamer gets the money out, in Claiming.
